So as a professional hair and makeup artist I feel the need to explain a couple of things..  

I know many of you have heard that "dirty" hair is better for an updo.. this is NOT true!! Please Please wash your hair! No one wants their hair to look oily-greasy on one of the most important days of their life!  

Your face should be clean of all makeup! No left over makeup from the night before!  

I know a lot of ladies don't think it's a big deal to have a little leftover eye makeup, however it is..  

Come with Clean dry hair and a sparkling clean face :)
